Bio
Sarah Moon is an actress, writer, and director who has trained and worked internationally across film, television, theatre, and voiceover. She made her screen debut at 17, portraying Irish convict Catherine Bartley in the historical mini-series Mná Díbeartha.
Originally from Tasmania, Sarah moved to London at 18 to study at The Kogan Academy of Dramatic Arts, graduating with a First-Class Honours degree in acting and directing. During her time in London, she appeared in productions including Abigail’s Party, Rabbit Hole, and Extremities (Camden Fringe), and directed Five Finger Exercise, Vampire Nights, and Beknown To You — the latter two of which she also wrote.
After relocating to Sydney in 2017, Sarah continued her training with renowned acting coaches such as Les Chantery, Anthony Brandon Wong, and Chum Ehelepola. Her Australian screen credits include Deadly Women (Discovery Channel), the independent feature Unbarred, and Life Beyond Christine — a short film she also wrote and produced.
In 2022, she founded Moonlight Motion Pictures, an independent production house dedicated to original works that explore the truth and beauty of the human experience. Life Beyond Christine, written by and starring Sarah, is MMP’s debut project and is due for release in late 2025.
Sarah is currently based in Vancouver, Canada, and works internationally.
